Set Construction.

Department of set construction is an integral part of Barrandov Studio. We create and build sets for domestic and international productions not only in our sound stages, and at Barrandov backlot, but also at various locations all over the Czech Republic. The skills of our craftsman and builders are highly valued across the film industry.
The extent of our set construction works covers centuries and variety of styles. We create modern, as well as historic towns, including streets, bulwarks, palaces, churches, gardens, forests, rocks, etc.

Thanks to our extensive workshop facilities, we can create original items, replicas, models, imitations of various materials, atypical and non-standard items of various shapes and sizes – from tiny props and furniture to coaches, safes, huge ship, airplane, submarine, or an atypical metal funicular construction at full proportion.
